Training Methodology – What makes us different than others?
What you do on training/therapy is just as important as what you (don’t) do after training/therapy. Some bad habits can completely negate the effects of training, so it is important to change them.
On the other hand, if the training is not appropriate it can cause additional unnecessary problems. We prioritize a problem-solving approach to training, so everything we do has a reason behind it. The goal is to optimize movement, performance and quality of life.
We create lasting results by addressing the root cause of the problem and making lifestyle changes.
Can I build muscle and lose weight?
Yes. By focusing on improving your biomechanics, you will gain muscle in places you need it, that will stay. And you will lose fat and keep it off.
Can you help with pain in the back/knee/hip/shoulder etc.?
Yes. Our priority is to make you pain-free. Chronic pain is usually the result of disfunctions in the body. We address those disfunctions by optimizing your biomechanics and physiology. When your body is working properly, there is no chronic pain.
What habits do I need to change?
That depends on your specific problems and goals. But the most common things are getting more sunlight, diet and nutrition changes, getting enough sleep during the night and practicing to be aware of your movement habits, and fixing them.
What can we expect from you?
We expect your 100% participation. We need your focus, continuity and discipline. It is important to understand that whatever problems you have, they aren’t developed overnight. They were forming for many years, maybe decades, or maybe you were born with them. Solving these issues takes time and discipline. It is also important to keep in mind that you will be required to change some daily habits.
